The food is mildly spiced, is made with only fresh ingredients and is always served to satisfy. The list of good qualities goes on, but you would be better off visiting the restaurant and going to see for yourself what they have to offer. You will find lunch or dinner in their comfortable atmosphere to be a refreshing event, with superb food that is sure to impress any diner.
Barg—Tender pieces of fillet mignon, marinated with saffron and other spices; served with choice of rice and grilled tomatoes
Morgh—Tender pieces of boneless chicken, marinated in garlic, onions and spices; served with choice of rice and grilled tomatoes
Shish Kabob (Bara)—Chunks of boneless lamb, marinated in onions, garlic and spices; served with rice, grilled tomatoes and onions.
Quorma Kadu—Pumpkin sautéed with onions, tomatoes and spices; served with basmati rice
Quorma Sabzee with Lamb—Spicy sautée of chopped spinach, coriander and scallions, with morsels of tender lamb; served with white basmati rice
Shireen Palow—Exotic rice dish cooked with orange peels, saffron, almonds and pistachios; served with grilled Cornish game hen
0 stars, terrible delivery, they can't keep their vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes that have similar names straight. AVOID!

The delivery was on time, and the kebabs I ordered were pretty good. The rice was much better this time.

Khyber Pass is one of my "go to" kebab places in the East Village and it never fails to disappoint. I've had their Morgh, Koobideh, Sultan-e-kebab and many others and they're all good. It's a bit pricey, but it's pretty comparable to neighboring kebab joints and the food is much better. Make sure to ask or yogurt sauce since they don't give any by default.

They took an HOUR AND A HALF to deliver my food. It was cold and ruined when it arrived. I will NEVER order from here again.

Wow! Outstanding! I ordered the Barg: (Tender pieces of fillet mignon, marinated with saffron and other spices) It was amazing! You can taste that authentic grilled flavor and the spices are excellent! Plus order the orange rice! It was fantastic what a twist. This dish is a great value. I was very happy with the meat portions for 13.95. Bravo Khyber. I am going to order the same thing tonight!
